South Pike High School offers two Advanced Placement (AP) courses, AP Government and AP Language and Composition, for juniors and seniors. AP courses are college-level classes that prepare students for the academic rigor of college, boost their GPA, potentially help save time and money in college, and increase their chances of receiving merit-based financial aid. AP classes require critical thinking and analyzing complex material, which are valuable skills in any academic or professional setting.
