October Spotlights from South Pike School District

Check out these amazing student and staff spotlights from the South Pike School District! The Character Trait of the Month at the South Pike Career and Technical Center is Compassion, which emphasizes the importance of empathy toward others. Congratulations to the EAGLE students who have exemplified this trait towards one another. Let's give a round of applause to Sedarion Conerly, Cano Robinson, Shalia Johnson, Janaya Jackson, Ray'Keveon Givens, and ShaKendra Collins.

We also want to shine a spotlight on the Eva Gordon Lower Elementary School staff and students who have made a difference this October. Kudos to Teacher Jowanda Magee, Paraprofessional L'Oreal Winding, and Eagle's Nest Damari Patterson. Congratulations to Pre-Kindergarten student Cameron Givens, Kindergarten students Ra'Kyelle Lacking, Landon Jordan, Del'yuntis Williams, and 1st Grade students Ja'miah Harris, Malaya Martin, and Sayge Cain. Way to go, 2nd Grade students Ronald McDowell III, Ivyonna James, Mayson Gillette, and Rykeria Lacking, and 3rd Grade students Tylia Mitchell, Kayden Bates, Cory Crossley, and Lai'Dyn Malloy!

Lastly, we are proud of our South Pike High School students who volunteered for the Trunk or Treat event organized by the City of McComb Mayor's Council. Our students have taken the initiative to give back to the community and contribute to the success of this event. It's great to see our students participating and bringing joy to kids and families in our neighborhood. Keep up the excellent work, South Pike School District!

SOARING TO EXCELLENCE!
